The takeaway
The offense has been the headline through two weeks. This one belonged to the defense. Holding a top-10 FCS offense to 205 yards and one third-down conversion in 12 tries is exactly the kind of performance Rob Aurich’s group needed before conference play.
The announced crowd was 86,217. Now the real test begins. Nebraska opens Big Ten play next Saturday at Michigan State, its first road game of the season. Go Big Red.
