University of Nebraska alum Bruce Marko remains a proud supporter of the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Dr. Marko says his time as a Cornhusker is why he’s one of the most distinguished physicians in hair restoration.

University of Nebraska-Lincoln
The University of Nebraska–Lincoln is the main campus of the University of Nebraska. For over a century, the teams of the University of Nebraska’s athletic programs have been known as the Cornhuskers, but they weren’t always huskin’ corn. Before that, the team was known as the “Bugeaters!” But that all changed in 1900, when a sportswriter by the name of Cy Sherman referred to the team as the “Cornhuskers.” And well, that one just stuck! The new name caught on with fans and newspapers and soon enough — it even caught on with the team. And they’ve been known as the Cornhuskers ever since!
Division I Men’s & Women’s Sports
Nebraska Cornhuskers compete at the Division I level for Men’s Football, Basketball, Baseball, Wrestling, Gymnastics, Track & Field and Cross Country; as well as Division I Women’s Volleyball, Basketball, Soccer, Softball, Gymnastics, Bowling, Track & Field, and Cross Country.
Dr. Bruce Marko earned his M.D. from the University of Nebraska — which includes campuses such as Nebraska-Lincoln, Omaha, Kearney and the Medical Center.
As an alum of University of Nebraska, Dr. Bruce Marko continues to cheer on the Cornhuskers!
